FRV is a global renewable energy solutions provider and leading solar developer. With a strong presence in Australia, FRV has a portfolio of successful solar and storage projects both operating and under development across Australia and New Zealand.
FRV started in Spain in 2006, and has since expanded to 4 continents, developing over 50 renewable energy projects with a total investment of over US $4 billion. FRV Australia began shortly after in 2010, and we delivered our first project in 2013.
FRV Australia’s shareholders are ALJ and OMERS Infrastructure.

FRV develops solar energy projects to own and operate for the long-term. This means we aim to build meaningful, positive relationships with our neighbours and the communities in which we operate.
Managing our assets ourselves means we are able ensure that they’re run responsibly and continue to perform efficiently throughout their lifespan. While we have sold some assets in the past, our forward strategy is to retain our assets, providing reliable and affordable energy to Australians while also delivering a sustainable return on investment.
